All set? Here's what you need to get started:
Guild
Preemie Mystery Baby Love
Designed
by Louisa Robertson
Getting
ready
Choose two DARK fabrics that are fairly
close in value, but not so similar that they moosh together. Also choose two LIGHT fabrics, fairly close,
but still distinct. There should be a
clear difference between the LIGHT fabrics and the DARK fabrics.
You will be working with fabrics in
pairs: The lighter of the DARK fabrics
and the lighter of the LIGHT fabrics will be SET 1; the darker two fabrics are
SET 2.
Glue samples of your fabrics to the chart
for reference as you work on the mystery.
You will also need containers (Ziploc bags
work great). Label A, B, C, D, E, F, and
LEFTOVERS.

Installment One Posted January 6, 2012
January 18, 2012. It isn't guild meeting day yet, but I know people are eager for the next step. So here is Installment Two
January 27, 2012. I've heard murmurings that Installment Two was so easy that you needed more to do. Here is Installment Three a bit ahead of schedule.

Things are getting a bit more complicated now. Follow the diagrams carefully and you will be fine. A note about pressing -- press seams as seems logical as you go along. If you find two seams coming together the "wrong" way, pin carefully and stitch, then press the new seam open. Here are the instructions for Installment Four.

Here you go with Installment Five.

In case you haven't figured out what to do with all the pieces you've made, here's one last picture.
Installment Six
(I'm sure yours will look much nicer than the picture!) Bring your top to guild and show it off! Then let's get these quilted.
